This Privacy Policy explains how Goldilox Technology LLC ("Goldilox", "we", "us") handles information in two contexts: the Goldilox Insights application running inside your Snowflake account, and this marketing website. We keep these separate because they are very different.

1. The Insights App — Your Data Stays in Snowflake

Goldilox Insights is a Snowflake Native App. It runs entirely within your own Snowflake account. We do not extract, transmit, copy, or store your data on our own infrastructure.

  • Insights analyzes only query metadata and telemetry — query history, table metadata, execution profiles, and clustering definitions — never the contents of your tables.
  • All analysis and processing happen inside your Snowflake environment.
  • We do not receive your query results or table data.
  • Any sharing of diagnostic or telemetry logs with us happens only with your explicit consent.

2. This Website — Analytics and Cookies

This website uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects standard analytics information, which may include:

  • Pages visited, time on page, and referring source
  • Approximate location (derived from IP address; the full IP is not retained by us)
  • Device and browser type
  • Clicks on calls-to-action, such as the "Try Free on Snowflake Marketplace" and "Request a Demo" buttons, so we can measure interest

This data is aggregated and used for analytics only. We do not sell it. Google processes it under Google's Privacy Policy. You can opt out of Google Analytics using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser.

3. Information You Provide

If you contact us or request a demo through our forms, you may provide your name, email address, company, and any message you write. We use this only to respond to you and to follow up about Goldilox. Demo and contact requests are collected through Google Forms, processed under Google's Privacy Policy.

4. Third-Party Services

This website and our sales process rely on a small number of third parties, each governed by its own privacy policy:

  • Google Analytics — website usage analytics
  • Google Forms — demo and contact requests
  • Snowflake Marketplace — where the Insights app is listed and installed
  • GitHub Pages — website hosting

5. Data Retention

Website analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics configuration. Messages you send us are retained for as long as needed to respond and maintain our relationship, and removed on request.

6. Your Choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser, opt out of Google Analytics as described above, and request that we delete any contact information you have shared with us by emailing support@goldilox.com.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as our practices evolve. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last Updated" date above.
